My Recent Activity

Home on the Range (blog entry) I am overwhelmed, by hundreds of hugs and a million good words.
The dust is settling and the road weariness is slipping away. Thank you my family for another exciting year, it was a pleasure to serve you this week. I poured my love into the meals... read more

What the...? (blog entry) For those who think global warming is causing the country to be warm this winter, come to Colorado. It seems that new glaciers are forming in my driveway. Our trash hasn't been picked up in three weeks and the last couple of days we have been expe... read more

Life less ordinary (blog entry) Things are beginning to settle down out on the front range now that fall has become comfortable. The Croquet set is up in the yard and the beer is fermenting in the basement. The wife has been working from home for her old boss in San Fran helping... read more

The Hoo-ha and the What-not

I am overwhelmed, by hundreds of hugs and a million good words.
The dust is settling and the road weariness is slipping away. Thank you my family for another exciting year, it was a pleasure to serve you this week. I poured my love into the meals as much as I could and things went far better than I could have ever dreamed. We lost a few campers this year for various reasons but everything turned out for the best. I love you all and hope everyone arrived safely back in reality camp.

For those who think global warming is causing the country to be warm this winter, come to Colorado. It seems that new glaciers are forming in my driveway. Our trash hasn't been picked up in three weeks and the last couple of days we have been experiencing "ground blizzards". For those of you who don't know what ground blizzards are, its when the wind picks up so much that the snow on the ground becomes a giant cloud of wintery hell and moves across the landscape. There is still snow on the gr... read more

Things are beginning to settle down out on the front range now that fall has become comfortable. The Croquet set is up in the yard and the beer is fermenting in the basement. The wife has been working from home for her old boss in San Fran helping him with his tour operations via the internet (isn't it grand!) and will hopefully be paid soon. The vacuum of money that was post burningman is starting to see a trickle of income so we will make rent yet again.
I'm still slaving away at the rest... read more

It has been nearly two weeks since my last posting, sorry guys. Things have been thrown for a loop lately out here on the front range. The weather is getting coldand my wife and I are scrambling for work. She was "let go" from her job in Denver because it wasn't a "fit" for her boss. It's only a slight bummer due to the lack of income but it really was for the best. She was commuting for an hour each way, each day and she wasn't getting the support or feedback from her co-workers that she nee... read more

It has been an interesting journey since I left the playa this year. Seeing old friends and connecting with new ones during a week long meditation in desert was good for my soul. I am refreshed and motivated and brewing beer like a mad scientist in a dark laboratory. Except the dark laboratory is more of a beautiful front range scene from a calander. In the works right now are an Amber ale and a Brown ale, both of which should be ready to bottle soon.
We also have a Dusseldorfer style altbi... read more
