Union Street Bridge

This view is from the east bank of the Willamette in Salem, Oregon. The bridge was constructed in 1912 for railroad traffic. The railroad stopped using it in 1990. The city acquired it and turned it into a pedestrian and bicycle bridge.

The view is the Willamette River, running downstream or north, towards Portland, Oregon where it meets the Columbia. The bridge crosses from West Salem, Polk County (left) to Salem, Marion County, right.

Tinky Winky is fashion conscious, which translated to "gay" in Jerry Falwell's distorted world. BTW isn't that a faaaabulous purse? Jerry didn't ask and Tinky didn't tell. So Tinky Winky could be gay but I'm inclined to disbelieve anything Falwell asserted as truth. Either way, Tinky Winky is still here and Jerry Falwell is still dead. Bye bye.
