Adrienne is the best friend that I've ever had. I met her when I was just 16, and within less than a year I had become a part of her family (her mom is awesome too, and practically adopted me). The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Adrienne is all the countless hours of uncontrollable, almost painful laughter that I've had with her throughout the years over the dumbest people and the stupidest shit. Sara Samanski!!! SATIN MOON!, OPAL MIST!!
Listen to me, Adrienne should come out with a song entitled "I was death rock, when goth girls weren't cool" (Barbara Mandrell joke, in case some of you other "dark lords" didn't pick up on it) cuz she's been on the razor's edge for over two decades. Not only has she managed for all this time not to sell her soul to Corporate America, Prozac, and the Banana-Republic, but in addition to doing things her own way, she's managed to make a success of herself in the process---AND she's never looked better to boot!!!!
I miss her now that I'm in Hawaii but I know that our adventures together are not over. But even if I never saw her face to face again, I know in my heart that we will always be close. I think of her like a sister, because she is...
