Attempting to digitally paint Lewis Carroll’s heroine, Alice, and the strange caterpillar, is a lot of fun. However, I think I failed. I can’t help but compare myself to the great Victorian illustrator, Sir John Tenniel, who I think is a better illustrator than Carroll was a writer. Those are some big shoes to fill.
