Alternative energy (blog entry) Ethanol doesn't look like a good way to go, the little bit I've looked up suggests that for each unit of energy spent only produces one unit of energy with corn ethanol. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Well (blog entry) School started again, should be a fairly busy semester. Time to stay motivated and figure out how to stay in shape through the winter so I can destroy racing in the spring.

I've been writing songs pretty consistently lately, I'm pretty satisfied with the results. I've mostly been playing acoustic guitar with both the E strings dropped to D- I have a bunch of instrumental songs that are just about done, but I'm not the best lyricist or singer in the world so I've been trying to find someone to collaborate with. Ethanol doesn't look like a good way to go, the little bit I've looked up suggests that for each unit of energy spent only produces one unit of energy with corn ethanol. Doesn't make much sense to me.
Also, hybrid cars don't seem like that great of a solution either. 3 more MPG for like $15,000 more? Not to mention that any advantage that hybrids get you are totally nullified when you drive 90MPH on the highway.
