Last two mornings I was awoken by the smell of smoke coming through my windows. Yesterday the sun was crimson red while still glowing about 40 degrees over the horizon. So many acres have already burned; the blaze just continues to spread. Our planet needs healing… Is it purging itself of us? I pray for rain, literally and metaphorically.
