God, it's waaay too hot. I prefer extreme cold to extreme heat. I feel like I'm melting and I've developed some kind of weird rash thingy around my collar bone. Anyway, I went to Laci's today and filled out an application. I talked to the manager a bit, as well. It seemed to go pretty well, so here's hoping! When I walked in the door one of the workers said "Can I have your drink?" I thought she was joking because it was so hot out. I felt like a total idiot when she had to explain to me it was because they didn't want any accidents in the shop. Whoops! I'm tired of being dead broke, so I hope I get this job. I got my drivers permit yesterday. Next step is actually driving... scary! Watch out for me on the road. Seriously though, I'll probably drive like an old lady. -Kaitlyn

My parents found three kittens in their basement. Luckily they're already weaned but two of them are pretty shy. So, I took them home. I'm hoping to get them tamed enough to find suitable homes. They're super adorable, as all kittens are! I know I can just take them to the shelter, but it's kitten season and these guys wouldn't exactly be first pick as they're not all the way tamed. The little black one slept with me and Poco last night, though- so adorable. This morning he/she cuddled up to Poco's belly and got a bath from Poco. Too cute!!! In case this hasn't already been established... my house is now officially a zoo. One bird, one puppy, and three kittens. Crazy! So... anyone want a kitten?
