I'm a wife and mother. My husband and I have been together for almost 6 years, but this July will be our 1 year wedding anniversary. We have a four year old son named U-tlo-so-hna-hi (white name is Brendan) and a one year old daughter named Nu-da-le-sv-na (white name is Hailey). My kids are absolutely my world.
I've gone to college for Graphic Design. I don't have a job in that field though, because there isn't much for it in my area, and we don't want to move away from my mother and my inlaws.
My husband's family are primarily Cherokee Indians of the Long Hair tribe in Oklahoma. I've always loved Native American cultures and have adopted their way of life and religion. I still have a great deal to learn, but living this way has been the best for me yet. Along with the culture and religion, I am constantly learning the Cherokee language. I know many words and some sentences that we use with our kids.
My current projects are learning to tan animal hides the way the Indians did, basket weaving, making clay pottery totally from scratch, and a few other things.
