I am now teaching belly dance classes at the Richardson Huffines Recreation Center, and am signing up new students for July. I'm not in the summer catalog yet, but will be in the fall catalog. I've been on a creative binge lately. I've made several comfortable tops that are fun to wear. I'm hoping to sell some. I've also been making jewelry.....neclaces and earrings. By and by when I get enough made I may see about selling some of those too. Mostly I've just been having fun making and wearing them.

I'm excited about the wonderful progress all my dance students are making! They are such beautiful people and are becoming beautiful dancers! We will have a new girl join us this Thurs. for class. She had been in my class when I was teaching at Wild Bohemian but lost me when the store closed. She found me again and will be joining us this Thurs. I am really looking forward to seeing her again. I love performing and teaching this dance....it's so good for the soul!!!! Not to mention the body! Happy dancing!

Who Would Believe All This Is Out Here???

I first found out about Tribe through Saah-rah, one of my belly dance students, but I shied away from it for a while because I'm not terribly computer conversant. But then Phil stuck his toe in and got involved, and it looked like a lot of fun -- so I decided to jump in and swim and see what it was like! I'm looking forward to sharing the results of my creative pursuits and also seeing other people's creations, so I'll be posting pictures by and by of some of the things I've made. The picture, by the way, was taken of me at White Sands, New Mexico, around 1985.
