View from Treble Cone. Really great skiing. Fast and Steep.
about me
What I'm like, really: Compassionate Human Being. Passion for life and all its sublime romance. Apparently sentient. Tendancy toward hedonism with strains of epicurian snobbery. Education attempted, results spotty. Shiftless liberal. Hyperkinetic - not on meds. Longtime practitioner of the "Ready, Fire, Aim!" school of thought. Skilled with my hands, and love to dance. Undimming brilliance. Cat-like reflexes. Rapier wit. Acts of daring do. And I'm amazingly humble about it all! Res Ipsa Loquitor.
I'm a mountian biker, rock climber, backcountry skier, and mountaineer; though sometimes I just like to sit and take in the sublime beauty of it all. This place really is perfect for me.
Its almost too good to be true....I get to live in paradise, doing what I love to do, surrounded by some really great people.
I'm STILL loving it here. Absolutely psyched about it!
ENERGY TO BURN: I've been hitting it pretty hard at the gym lately, and getting out more on my bike, even starting to run... Its amazing how much energy that produces. I've been up with the birds and going strong all day long. Its a great reminder that I did not ove here for the pubs!

Now I'm back where I started, more or less, just past another solstice. The shock has worn off, but the adventure continues. In the weeks since the solstice, I've spent a lot of time thinking. Thinking about the blind luck that brought me here.
This year has been wonderful. I've been blessed with the freedom to travel around New Zealan...

Friends that are some of the best kind of blessing. I held on though....to the one I was bringin here with me and that turned out to be a mistake. In letting her go, I found my self caught and held up by people who, having no reason to do so, shared their love and friendship with me. Another blessing. Those people, they have move...
