Doing my part

Ok, so a friend of mine told me that it take 1,000 years to decompose a plastic bag. That just made my poor little brain hurt. Then she showed me these. www.lehmans.com/jump.jsp They are these awesome bags that fit neatly into a grocery cart. They hold up to 40 lbs. and they come in a set of two for $12. I'm sure some of you already take your own bag to the store. But these are roomy and durable. I am guilty of taking a plastic bag from the store every single time I go. Now I have this huge collection of them in my pantry that I don't want to just toss because they take so long. I don't know who recycles them either. Anyway, just wanted to pass these nifty bags on to everyone! Oh and there are some other cool things on this site as well.

Awesome! I love it when people think of smart stuff like this! Will have to look into them.

Kroger says they recycle the bags, not sure if its a myth or not, but you can turn them in to a bin they have on sight. Also, the co-op will reuse clean bags.

You know, for 12 dollars for 2, these things are freaking awesome. I heard someone that Kroger doesn't really recycle them. I thought about taking them to Good Foods, but my fear is that someone will take them home and throw them away. So that's why I hoard them like a crazy woman. Anyway, check them out!
