had a mystical moment ... in dec 05 and this poem came out of it...

I AM

I am...
the flick of the dolphins tail as it leaps, sending salt water flying
i am that saltiness
and sinking my teeth into the flesh of a fish 
i am desire fulfilled

I am
the glitter of rain on Krishna's belt
and wonderment at the vision 
I am the sparkles in Freddy's heart
the glint in Alexiis' eye
the extraordinary gentleness as my fingers on one hand slowly touch the other,
the dna swirl of energy in the diksha giver before me
her spiral electrifies the cells 
they buzz with bumble bee love

I am 
the burst of light inside as two bodies deeply collide 
i ache just as i am satisfied 
i am the dog's breath and the excitement in its heart and feet
I am the curved flesh of a bellydancer's hip,
the joy propelling her movement
i am the space between your words, before you breathe in
all forces of nature are alive in me
I feel the blaze of color that is desire, 
and rising up to greet the hands of pure light, 
listening in between all there is 
as the container dissolves,
I am sensation.

I saw Dead Can Dance play at the Hollywood Bowl last week...
Lisa Gerard sang this song entirely with her eyes closed. After she finished, she opened her eyes, looked at the audience and said 'you are all SO beautiful', waved goodbye and BOOF, the lights illuminated the audience. then flash, their drummer took a picture of us. it was LOVELY.
