My awesome super fat Beauty Supply discount girl got fired.

What am I going to do without my Bare Minerals and my Bedhead and Paul Mitchell products? Cuz lord knows I'm not paying $30 for a bottle of shampoo or super volumizing hairspray or $50 for magic face exfoliator. See, I knew I should have never opened Pandora's Box. Now I'm used to these fantastic products and I can't go back I just CAN"T!!!!

And it was a great place to get people super fat beauty baskets. This sucks so bad.

My calendar is crazy. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY is occupied! ALL DAY. And I'm trying to move. Oh yeah, might not have mentioned THAT pile of crap. The place the man and I were supposed to move to has all but fallen through. His deadbeat cousin has been staying there without paying rent for over 6 months, and she agreed a month and a half ago to be out by the 1st. For some reason the man decided to wait until the NIGHT BEFORE to follow up with her, and she said she's not ready. Now she's dodging his calls, there is no move date in sight, and I'm PISSED.

So, to blow off some steam, I got throwing up drunk that night and proceeded to blow the few paltry hundred dollars I had saved for our place. I don't know what's wrong with me. Luckily the man has been working very hard and has made about $1000 in a week, and plans to make at least one and a half of that by the end of next week, so my irresponsibility is being supported and admonished by him, at the same time.

Back to my calendar, the weekends are mostly filled with fun, but it's still hectic. This weekend is my girls' birthday, so I'm giving her two, count em TWO whole days (okay more like one evening and one 3/4 day, lol!) of my precious time. Then on Sunday I am meeting up with a new friend from class and we're finishing a full pattern and a half pattern, front and back. Oh boy!

Next weekend is my birthday. I can't even begin to THINK of what I really want to do/wear/eat, etc, so I'm just not. It stresses me out. I do have a gathering to go to that will be fun, but the next day I get to go to the library and study for my cultural apparel history paper. I really want to do a good job on it, but to do it justice means researching each of my cultures and reporting on a historical item of clothing from each. Native American, African American, Spanish, Irish, German, French. That's a lot for a one page paper and presentation.

My present to myself for my birthday (since I'm probably not getting an apartment) is to attend the CA Community College Fashion Symposum in LA on the 19th. The whole shebang, flight, halfsies on a rental, and tickets, cost less than $150, so I said what the hell. It's going to be so fun, all I have to worry about is taking in as much as possible in the 12 hours I'll be there, and of course, what ever am I going to wear? The Sunday after that, my 8a-5p class starts. Every. single. Sunday. Until May 18th. That's only a few weeks. I'll be fine.

The Saturday after that, I'm meeting with an old friend of my grandma's who owns her own children's clothing store. She designs many pieces herself and runs an online store. I thought it would just be an apprenticeship but after speaking with her yesterday it seems like she wants me to take over the shop while she's vacationing this summer. Deep down under the stress and anxiety, I'm very excited. This is the first thing that will go on my "fashion resume", and if I can actually pay my bills too? Perfection.

Other than that, it's study, study study. I just aced my midterm, aced my research paper, aced all my sketching, and have been getting 8/10 on my patterns, but there is no time for fucking up. And on the 20th my Sunday class starts. I just pray that I'm moved in by then so I can have the luxury of only having to clean up after myself and being able to study in peace and quiet.
