Why can't people just get in into their heads that we are all just people aside from the fancy clothes we wear or whatever materialistic things we own? It's so surreal to look out onto the land with the millions of houses and cars and think that there millions of people out there, but we refuse to unite because of these "differences" we have like money, lifestyle orientations, skin color, politics blah blah more bullshit that doesn't matter. I can't believe gas is now $3 and everyone's just accepting it. This country's government makes everyone believe that any other type of lifestyle is impossible and this is the way our reality should work. But I refuse to accept it, and I wish others would too. I feel like if I can change one person's way of "conventional" thinking, at least I can say I changed someone's world.

So, some things must officially end. I am nearing the point in my life where I must see the world and what it has to offer me. I have many options, India, New Zealand, New York, Colorado, or at least these are potential options if I work for it. But i'm afraid that I will search the world and not find what i'm looking for, which is silly because I have no idea unless I've already done it. One thing I need to overcome is letting people into my life. I have this way of being distant with people unless I hang out with them constantly for like years, or unless I really take a liking to them and it's equally reciprocating. It's hard, the way I grew up supports my solitary way of life, but I don't want that anymore. I don't feel real.

Chiron in Gemini

If Chiron falls in Gemini in your chart, you bear a pain of doubting your mental capacities. This placement makes for a person who exhaustively seeks knowledge or becomes resentful of those who seem naturally gifted with words and ideas. At the heart of Gemini is a need to be heard and understood. Gemini loves to talk and have people listening intently, but with Chiron in Gemini, you feel as though your ideas fall on deaf ears or, if they are heard, are victim to ridicule. Rather than feeling ignorant for what you feel you don't know, Chiron in Gemini encourages you to make the most of what you already know within your heart. By cherishing your natural talents and instincts, you are able to open yourself (and your wound) up to the world and share what you've learned from your pain. Give your time to causes dealing with learning disorders or literacy, or any situations in which people fear that their intellectual resources are lacking. What is your Rising Sign? Virgo If your Rising Sign is Virgo, you can often give the impression of someone who is very put-together, almost meticulously groomed. You hold yourself in a very modest and dignified, sometimes snooty, manner, and you seem like you would be into high fashion or at least keeping up appearances. Even if you're feeling sociable or boisterous, you may look to the world like a wallflower, like you've got something very serious on your mind. With a Virgo Rising Sign, you might find yourself fielding health-related questions from your friends and family -- you just seem like you'd have the answers! Jupiter in Aquarius What is your Lucky Sign? Aquarius You find luck through your visionary skills and the ability to see beyond outmoded traditions. Prepare yourself for luck by positioning yourself in situations that value your innovative thinking and rebellious nature. With your revolutionary ideas, you have the potential to be a catalyst in organizations. By overcoming stubbornness, and through willingness to compromise, you will be able to find even more success and luck than you thought possible.
A miracle's miracle

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not surprisingly, the genetic manipulation of rice has become part of the increasingly polarized public debate about whether to welcome or ward off the addition of genetically modified foods into our diets. GM foods -- so-called "Frankenfoods" in the minds of many people -- made their commercial debut in the 1990s. Ever since, they have become the target of environmentalists and consumer advocates, who fear that genetically tinkering with the food we eat may have harmful repercussions for our health and the environment. Specialists working on the rice plant would argue that the case of genetically engineered rice is different than that of other kinds of GM foods, such as mush-resistant bananas, self-fertilizing corn, and lettuce made unappealing to caterpillars. IRRI scientists have come up with Golden Rice, which is fortified with vitamin A and may benefit not just the wallets of the farmers who grow it but also the health of the consumers who eat it. This new rice, engineered to make its own supply of vitamin A (which gives the rice a golden color), could conceivably prevent blindness and even death among the developing world's poorest, most vitamin-A-deficient people. If that happened, it would be a miracle's miracle.
"The vast majority of people have enormous potentialities of thinking, far beyond anything ordinarily suspected; but so seldom do the right circumstances by chance surround them to require their actualization that the vast majority die without realizing more than a fraction of their powers. Born millionaires, they live and die in poverty for the lack of favourable circumstances which would have compelled them to convert their credit into cash." A.R. Orage
