So, as an addition to my second to last blog post: I quit the Humane Society. Or was fired. It was basically mutual.
Had a few of those lately, as my last relationship ended in a totally mutual fashion as well.
I guess my patience for BS has just run out. I'm getting way to close to 30 to do things that don't make me happy.
I REFUSE TO SETTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Working in that totally dysfunctional environment was literally making me sick. My face broke out the first week I started and hasn't cleared up since, and this was after it was really starting to get better. I also came down with a nasty cold/flu the week after I started when I hadn't been that sick in over a year. And the depression......ah the depression!
I should have known better. My best friend still works there and has the inside line on the bull shit. I don't know why I thought I could really help the situation. Not with all the idiots running the show.
Seriously, how can we ride around on our high-horse of "best animal care", "best home situations" when we literally had a dog dying in the runs and NOBODY noticed until he could barely move! WTF?

Well, at least I'll have more interesting, less hair-pullingly frustrating things to talk about now.

Now I just gotta find another job to fill in where the glass shop can't afford to pay me.........
