Our fabulous roommate, Jamie, is running off to fill her head with science. As a result, her room is opening up here at the Riverton house June 1st.

Starchy's old room has already been filled by an awesome person named Matt -- who some of you have already met. We're hoping to be equally successful in finding another roommate for Jamie's room.

One of the our fabulous housemates is moving out, which means that we are looking for a new housemate to move in June 1st! Could it be you?

There are three of us, a male & female couple occupying two of the rooms and another male roommate in a third downstairs bedroom. It's a great fun and inspiring group of people to live with. We all have fairly multifaceted lives and are no particular order: artists, bikers, crafters, designers, gamers, geeks, kickboxers, musicians, pranksters, programmers, psychologists, skeptics, and students.

* 2 min walk to grocery store, coffee shop, cheap thai food, etc.
* Very close to SFSU, Lake Merced Park, and Stern Grove Park

* The room measures 11.5' x 12.5'
* Located upstairs in the back of the house
* Westward facing windows look out to the backyard and towards the ocean (lovely sunsets!)
* 4.5' size closet with built-in shelving
* Separate (semi-shared) full bathroom with skylight
* Hardwood floor

Room available to move in June 1st. Rent is $675 per month + your share of the utilities (PG&E, water/sewage, garbage, phone/DSL, monthly gardener visit). With the changing of the seasons and occupants, it is hard to give a solid estimate of the utilities, but you should probably expect around $100 plus an extra $40 bimonthly for water. Although the full bathroom is a shared one, the other occupied rooms have their own private bathrooms, so you don't have to worry about it being used very often.
