What a delight Parisa has been and is in my life! She brings integrity to any situation. She is full of grace and style. Don't let her demure and unpresuming approach fool you she is brainy and accountable and uses her wit to make this world a better place at every turn. Not to mention she is totally fun to party with. A well rounded freak with a beautiful smile. If you are lucky enough to have her as a friend treat her like gold because she deserves it!

What else can I say Parisa raises the bar for gettin' down.
A rare and genuine practitioner of generosity, humility and kindness and that ROCKS. World traveler, attractive, athletic, highly educated with brain cells to spare, and that's mostly on the outside. From the inside she radiates intelligence, light and love the kind which gives added hope for this world we live in. She also has a killer embouchure and mad tonguing techniques with which she blows mean a flute tone. I have had many fun times Livin' Large with Parisa! November 6, 2007
What can I say about someone that will join me Jaegermeister shots...she is formidable intellectually, viewing and competing in sports, and even the occasional partying..
A great friend who always there when you need her. January 15, 2007
So glad to call this girl a friend. A true soul sister! It's a privledge to know this woman. She deserves the finest and that means the finest man too!

Who else can you call and jabber to for hours on end about lofty ambitions? And I am speaking perhaps of the loftiest. It is probably because Miss Parisa is a beautifully lofty person.

This little country is still trying to shake off the aftermath of armed conflicts that - one after another - swept through here for a decade, during and after U.S. military involvement in Vietnam. Cambodia is beautiful, but poverty-stricken. Next to Burma, it's the poorest country in Southeast Asia, despite the tourism boom around Siem Reap. But a closer look reveals an undying spirit, and it keeps Cambodians smiling through each day. Maybe it's... read more

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life: * Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue. * Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them. * Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it. * Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be ... read more

2) Then take a look at a wall near you (any smooth, single color surface) 3) You will see a circle of light developing 4) Start blinking your eyes and you will see a figure emerging 5) What do you see? Moreover, who do you see?
I was tagged my FamilyGirl, whom I've never met before but feel like she is a close friend.

Rules: - write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. - choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. - no tag backs. 1. Even though I have Master's from Harvard and a Phd. from UC Berkeley, it still took me an hour to figure out how to post a blog on tribe. 2. I was born in Iran and Farsi is my first language. I lived there during the 78'-80' re... read more
