My Testimonials

February 1, 2009
I met Apple at the Faerie Masquerade Balls and she is one of the sweetest, most welcoming people I have ever encountered. It was a pleasure to meet her and I certainly hope it is not the last time we meet. She is also a talented craftsperson who makes very imaginitive books.

The girl is a study in human ordinariness.

“Do you see what he is doing?” says Caspar. “Do you see his efforts, do you understand?”

She can’t speak.

This summer has been utterly crazy with vending everywhere, making more product and keeping up with orders and shows. I've expanded my online presence with an ArtFire store in addition to my Etsy shop and regular website (www.gildedquill.artfire.com). I've been working on keeping my blog (www.gildedquill.blogspot.com/) really up-to-date, getting my newsletter out and basically running insane!

I've got my Facebook Fan Page now for the Gilded Quill:

Dang. Life has been just a little crazy since I've been able to pour all my energy into the Gilded Quill. I've spent time making my blog and connecting it to facebook, working with a mad number of orders and projects and securing two more events (Miscon in Missoula and Crypticon Seattle). www.gildedquill.blogspot.com/

I finally got my fragrant ink recipe perfected so now those are up for sale and today I just added two new greeting cards as well. Funny that because I discovered ... read more

So, Radcon just wrapped up last week and went pretty good. After the Balls I had a real honest to gods wand rack made for my wands and it looks really great, holding up to 87 wands. With the exception of waking up with my gum inextricably stuck in my hair Saturday morning, the rest of the weekend was actually pretty good. Sales were good and the crowd had a pretty decent vibe.

The first weekend in March I'll be vending at the Bizarre Bazaar and then I have the rest of the month until S... read more

Have you hear the rumor?... (in A Circle of Merry Folk) ...that there is going to be a smashing birthday party for King Oberon on October 10-11th! They say that *everyone*, Lost Boys and Pirates and maybe a Cheshire Cat...anyone of a fantastical and whimsical nature is invited...
