Hi! My name is Diana and I live in Pennsylvania. I've been tatting for about 25 years having learned when I lived in SLC, Utah, where I worked as a delinquent bill collector. I was taught by a co-worker named Sue, but she was called Bevin, or Lady Bevin of 1000 songs. I wish I could re-connect with her to show her that she wasn't teaching my in vain. I've found many sites online about tatting and have found people who have shown me others and been very helpful to me, especially Sharon from TatChat, who has helped me be able to post pix! This is a coaster pattern by Darlene Polachic which I adapted to be an ornament. I tatted around a cabone ring and tied that to a plastic canvas. I used sticky-back felt to cover both sides of the canvas and the end of the hanger. I used clear contact paper to cover both sides of a picture and glued that onto the felt covered plastic canvas. Then I made the tatting and glued that on, finishing the ornament.
