The move went well...Colorado is amazing...My trip to Ireland over the summer really put stuff straight for me. It is really great to be here!

Oct.13th 2007 Dear Friends, As many of you may know. Since losing Cully in May of 2006, I have struggled to make my Life meaningful and find a new path. Singing has helped me make it through this time. I picked up the pieces of my life and moved to Santa Barbara, California to go into the music program at Santa Barbara City College. I am a part of our College Choir and our Chamber Singers group as well as being involved in advanced vocal classes. I have done so much in such a short time here. It has been a challenging and a wonderful experience on the road to a new life for me. I now have the opportunity to go on tour with the college choir and perform in Ireland in June of 2008. We will be performing in locations such as St. Patrick's Cathedral, St. Anne's Church, All Hallows College in Dublin, St. Augustine's Church, City Hall in Cork, Muckross House in Killarney, St. Nicholas, Galway University in Galway. In order to be able to make this trip happen I need to raise my part of the airfare, lodging, food, etc. I have already raised $500. Yet, it is no where near what I need to make this trip happen. There is no way I can make this trip with out help from friends and family. The last time I was in Ireland was with Cully in June of 2001 visiting his family; my whole world has changed since then. Now part of Cully's ashes lay in his family plot in Ireland. I know that being able to go back there will help me put some issues to rest. I am looking for this chance to go back to Ireland and sing in Cully’s memory, and hopefully make new memories to take back with me. Please help make this dream become a reality. Things have been pretty crazy lately, there is a new baby around and school is busy! I am healing and going to the gym to work on strength... The new girl, my niece, is Serenity Rose Stanavage-Monahan. Liberty and Dave's new scorpio baby. Pretty wild life...

Small set back...

O.k. had a small car accident, don't really want to go into the details, but I fell out of a car going about 25 miles per hour, have a bunch of road rash, a small fracture in my skull, but happy to say if I take it easy should make a full recovery. Life is so weird, happy I made it through, I am not giving up yet. Life can really kick up in the rear sometimes.

Just got back from an SCA event . Got all Medival and watched people fight. Sang and danced and enjoyed the sport of all of it.

So I have a school schedule sorted out now just paying attention to my homework and all that... Learning to read music, and train myself to sing... Mainly it is learning to live with all the changes that life has thrown my way... I love Santa Barbara though and feel that I am lucky to be here for this journey...Making friends, and learning new things...Mabye teaching others as well...
