<div>Merly really and totally loves this photo mostly because it was taken on the grounds of her school. I love it for the simple reason she has her arms around me with the cuddly embrace that makes me giggle each time I see it and remember the moment.</div>

MI1- Mouse Impossible: The Mystery Begins...

    </a>
<div>I have a very large backyard. So large I think if I were to remove both storage sheds, I think a small kitbuilt helicopter could land in the space. An untreated field of that size always have a few mice that will eventually find their way into the house each year during this season. This year I tried to get the jump on them by placing sticky mouse traps in certain areas. I did this last night in the mindset they would be active nocturnally.
This morning I went to check and found them missing. It is bad enough I am not a morning person and I am now spending time searching. My brain was still not fully awake; but, was able to understand that both traps should not have disappeared. The initial thought is that the mouse may have been able to drag itself away; but, previous experience with sticky traps tell me that the mice usually get full bodied stuck in the glue.
So where are my sticky traps?!?!?!?!?
Well part of the mystery have been solved in that it revealed to me that nanay Lula had accidently stepped one of the traps but did not know what it was.
As for the first trap? That is definitely a mystery. I am still falling back to the drag away theory. I am looking for it and somehow think the mouse was able to avoid it and harness it for the resources of the mouse.
It is either a dead mouse or a clever mouse.</div>

										<div>Good Hello people.

It has been ages since the last blog entry here. Quite abit has happened during my blog absence here: death of a cousin, true family kinships revealed, old hobby obsessions fading out, new hobby obsessions sprouting, some friendships fading away, some friendships maintained, and new relationships growing. In short, Life has continued in the Grand Galactic scheme.

I have a new blog
http://anything-everything--nothing.blogspot.com/
It has become my primary blog whereas this is my secondary. I will try to be more current to this blog as I have tried to be with my AEN blog.

    </a>
<div>With Halloween approaching, I am again reminded of a workplace prank.

At the time of the prank, I was working as an interpreter for a deaf/ blind guy that I knew since we were kids. He was born deaf; but, lost his sight as a young boy. David was a celeb at the workplace and he knew it. He took great delight in attempting to teach the other workers finger spelling and some various sign language. The other workers marveled at how fast that I could take their verbal instructions into a sign language short hand that David and I had developed.
The day of the prank was a Friday and the end of the workday. Paychecks were handed out and the people were waiting for the bus. David was sitting with his flock of admiring groupies with me nearby if he needed me. He engaged his prank by signing with one hand to me and the groupies that his eyes were really irritated from allergies. With his other hand, he shielded rubbed his eyes.
In the time it took for me to read his signs and then tell the others what David had signed, he lowered his hand from his face, grinning viciously. Emily asked why David was holding out his hand so I asked him. He said that his eyes itched then opened his hand.
To everyone&amp;rsquo;s shocking surprise, David had removed both of his eyes. The prosthetic lenses gazed upward in the middle of his palm. There was a mix of gasps and screams at sight of his hand and David laughing as if he could actually hear their screams and gasps. Faster than a nuclear detonation, word of David&amp;rsquo;s false eyes had fire stormed through the workplace.
After finally calming most of the workplace down, David went to the bathroom to rise off the eyes. Karma kicked in when David accidentally dropped one of the eyes down the drain.
The eye was eventually recovered; and much to his pride, David had essentially secured himself a chapter in the water cooler gossip for a great long time.

<div>For the first time in five years, Travis Air Force Base had Air Expo 2005 the past weekend Oct.15-16.

Only my nephew and I went this year as he made a point to tell everybody that this was an Uncle/nephew only tradition. He was excited as this would be his second expo. I gave him two single use cameras and now his excitement continues as he waits for me to take them in for processing and see the pix he took.

My excitement for the the airshows have never faded in over 30 years of going. I am always awestruck at the civilian and military aircraft on static display and the flying demonstrations.

To see these technological wonders forces me to think of the designers for their imagination, the egineers to build them, and the aircrews that test and fly them.

My appreciation for the military goes far beyond words with the deepest respect.
I watched the the flying demonstrations of the B1, B2, F15, F117, C17, C5, KC10 and the USAF Thunderbirds. I touched and walked through the Hanoi Taxi.
I will never be able to show enough gratitude that the military's four branches believe that that this country is worth fighting for.</div>

<div>One of the very few situations that can easily enrage me is the operational failure of the microwave oven. I do not know what it is about the ovens that I have used over the years; but, there was never a gradual failure to warn me that there was a growing problem.
They simply stopped working or stopped producing microwave heat.
I am quite fine in preparing meals with the conventional oven or stove so I believe that my rage is not because I am so dependent of the microwave.
There is some kind of warning with the other appliances of their approaching demise or need of repair; but, I never detected at any time any problem with the microwave.

Well since mine decided to simply stop the one function of its sole existence, I uncerimoniously unplugged the metal box and tossed it into the garbage. I am not in the least bit interested in finding the cause for the failure. I could have cleaned it then gave it to Goodwill or some other second hand store as a need repair item; but, chose not to.

Another element 'torquing my jaw' is that yesterday was the first day of the fall season. I do not think there was a full month of temperatures in the high 90s -low 100s. I was robbed of my summer heat and now I have to prepare for the cold wind, overcast days and rain. Despite my daily sunlight exposure, my broodish mood grows.

Am I finally becoming the stereotypical intolerant old man?

										<div>-We are the Blog-

-From this time forward, you will write all thought to this medium-

-We will add your distinctiveness to our own-

-You are to begin the next phase of your cyberspace existence-

-Resistance is futile-

Since 1976, I have been writing and voice recording journals. I would do this as a daily practice for months at a time then gradually stop writing. When I graduated from college in '92, one of my instructors gave me a blank book as my graduation gift. His final instruction was for me to write in it daily. I kept a daily journal for almost three years after that. As usual with the previous journals, I would gradually fade out to a total quit of writing.
Well, after about eleven years of the Internet, I am starting my first journal as a blog. I am both excited and nervous to the idea that someone will actually read what I write.

I wonder if I am to conclude this entry with something profound, inspirational, or humourous....</div>
