Today my heart is filled with much love and gratitude.

Last night was my first solo performance and I recieved so much love and support last night that my heart if filled to the brimm. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the support. I really am greatful.

To Folk Infusion, thank you for having such a great event that I could come participate in and all the cheering.
To Jewels of the North, I love you girls, I am so thankful to have such a great troupe that are also friends
To nanSee, Shala (sorry if spelt wrong), Fajara and Heather: thank you for the supportive words and cheers.
Dy, thanks for the rum. I sooo needed that.
To those I didn't list, Sorry I forgot you by name, but thank you for the support and cheers.

If someone had told me 4 years ago that I would be bellydancing, part of a supportive and caring community, and do a solo dance I would have laughed at them. So to my friend Melanie that introduced me to the dance a deep thank you for introducing me to a community that is sooo right for sooo many reasons.

Okay, so, I am now in the process of trying to find a name for perfomances. I have looked at a list of names and nothing is really striking me as,"Oh my gosh that is the name I need to have."

So, I am coming here to get some help. I would like to hear your stories on how you got your bellydance name to help inspire me. Or, if you know a really good site for names maybe you can give me the link.

Thanks for any help,

But if you have already listened to it please list your favorite song if you already have one. . . Oh, heck, you can just list your favorite Tarkan song. It doesn's need to be from his newest CD.
