about me
I'm well and truly knee deep in graphic and web design projects as well as development of www.thefiregarden.com. I'm a fairly independant person and love a good debate. I'm a biker. But my bike is broken. I'm an insomniac and my brain runs at 32,000 rpm at all times. I'm writing this after 31 hours of no sleep as usual. I need a cup of tea.

I apologise if i offended anyone with multiple postings, but i got it all out of the way in one go. No more, i promise!

For me it's getting into crossers. I love the way it feels to let the poi do the work for you, it's damn near magical.

PreHeat is place where Burners from various cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies gather to participate in a temporary community filled with interactive art, music, and radical self expression. It is a place that exists only because those that attend choose to create it and is a direct expression of their collective and diverse visions. PreHeat is an official Regional Burn and as such the 10 Principles of Burning Man act as the cornerstone of PreHeat, but our expression of those principles extends far beyond the Playa.

I find myself learning new moves and patterns a lot, but then when it comes to free styling I end up back in the same patterns and sort of forget my new moves. What can I do to help this.

So i'm one of those people who obviously cares for the less fortunate. I try to help people when i can, and i share what i have when i think it would make a difference.

That said i almost never give to charities or other organisations. I am aware that some are run by people that don't use the money to it's full potential, or personally benefit from running the charity. Other times it just does not cross my mind.

Watching that video helped to put it into perspective better than any charity video i have seen before.

I don't do enough to help.

With The Fire Garden heading towards opening a small shop in the future, and the possibility of running events and performances, i think we as a community should find a cause or charity to adopt and support as we grow (i'm sure we could find plenty of ways to do so).

So i ask, if any of us were to give a little to help a charity or organisation, how can you tell that your money is going to the right place? Who would benefit the most from the help of a community?
