I am back from Arkansas and had the best birthday suprise!!!!

Off to the Natural State

I am going on "vacation" to Ash Flat, Arkansas to see family, see greenery and just to soak in some water. It's going to be somewhat of a working vacation, helping my parents with the place they bought. I will be gone from today this afternoon June 26 - July 8, will most likely have no internet love sooo hope everyone has lots of fun and should have pictures when I get back. :)

My aching back

I do not know what I have done to it but its frakin' hurting like a mofo. I went to the ol' back cracker on Thursday, he said he could tell I was out and I have this one spot that is all ouchies when you touch it. He whacked me mostly back in shape and I feel a lot better but jeebus its starting to get sore again. I am trying to sit up straight, I also wouldn't let the puppy sleep on the bed last nite and Joey actually made her sleep in her crate. Unfortunately, my Cocoa Mama might be the one of the causes because she sleeps right up my bum basically and its not the most comfortable position with her being like 65 lbs. I go back on Monday to get cracked and look at the xrays he took, hopefully all is well and I am just really out of whack. Back problems scare the crap out of me since my dad has had like 3 surgeries and is still all messed up. So I am all "woe is me" right now but I'll buckup and take it like a woman. :)

Romantasy Cabaret is like the coolest thing since Jack was added to Coke!

So my fabulous belly dance teacher extraordinaire Kahlea throws together this HUGE FUN FANTABULOUS show called Romantasy Cabaret. Now if you live in Phoenix there is no reason for you not to go, if you don't then maybe you should take some vacation time to come see this awesomeness in action.

Feeling blessed

I feel really blessed that I have 2 fabulous teachers in my belly dance life at the moment. I have the wonderful Ava Fleming who keeps me on my toes and kicks my butt with every class, giving me the basic fundamentals that are so needed for the dance. I have Kahlea who is also reinforcing my fundamentals while bringing such a sister hood to the class that the class is always so joyous. I also have met some wonderful women through the classes who really have enriched my life through being such happy smiling faces. I realized as I was leaving class today thinking about doing the recital tonight that I am not even worried because I will be surrounded by such positive force that any little misstep will not matter. I can't wait to dance with some awesome ladies tonight and it's so very exciting.
