Two of my goth friends recently took up bellydancing, so to celebrate/induct them into the Cult of Bling (TM) I decided to make them each a corset belt. The above shot is a detail of one of the front panels of a Steampunk themed belt I did for my friend Libby. I made the belt base of a sturdy cotton duck and embellished each panel with hand-painted copper stencils that I designed in Illustrator.
