New Feature for Tribe
Tue, June 10, 2008 - 2:43 PMThe world is getting smaller. I am not a prude by ANY stretch of the imagination. I like naked pictures as much as anyone. But can you understand that when you post a nude picture, it can pop up on someones window right when their boss is looking? Can you just keep that content on your personal website? Share it with your friends. Hang it in your house but not on Tribe which is open to everyone. Oooo, how about this? Pledge to just post the naked pictures on the weekend! That way you minimize getting other people in trouble because you felt the pressing need to post Miss January.

if that happens.. i want the ability to flag a tribe thread... becuase I don't care about it... that way.. it doesn't pop up as new replies all the time.
and hey. what about some of us who mostly check tribe at work??? there should be a way to flag that picture for your viewing.. like a cookie |

I'm gonna play Devil's Advocate and maintain that none of us should be looking at Tribe whilst at work.

I had to quit a tribe friend I made on tribe for this very reason...
I would suggest keeping the window minimized at work and open at home. Selecting certain friends to block is an idea but the chances are just too random...like you never know just who will be inspired to post Miss January ya know? What I'd like to have is the ability to delete ( just from my homepage) pics that come in. There are some I don't really feel the need to see, be they objectionable to my personal taste or just blech. There are times I've wished someone, anyone, would post a new one so the top one isn't there in my face at mega-size...

Look, if it's a violation of the TOU then flag the photo as such. Or you could join the Brainstorm tribe and air your complaints there.

I've had to 'de-friend' a person for this same reason... there is nothing like opening tribe to someones nekked glory... that you only know via tribe.... and when I called him on it... his quote was ... "well did you like what you saw..." Granted I'm a 1 person office... no hassles as to what I choose to open here... but still I find it irritating when I haven't asked to have a pix of their nakedness!

I thought Tribe's TOU said NOT to post naked pictures, anyway. So if someone is doing that sort of crap, they oughtn't to be, anyway.

I'll check the Tribe Suggestions tribe. Can someone post some cute badger or something so the bush (which is STILL in my petite flower face) goes away? I'm too busy mixing meds with lambic as I've got my period for the first time in 4 months and my body isn't happy.
Oh, BTW - not EVER thought I was knocked up or anything, it's suppose to be like that. Those long strings of birth control pills. I'm a virgin remember. Plus my eggs are stale and I never want kids (unless they are cleaning my toilet and bringing my julips). My nephew is good at the toilet part. Convinced him it was fun. That won't last much longer. |

Ummm, yes, I think I know what you are talking about. Huge picture, too. All day I've been wishing someone would post some other picture. I've been tempted to get Don to post something, anything, so that would come up instead.

There has been discussion about this very thing in both the brainstorm and gold star tribes. Also lumped blogs into the equation...this function is on the wish list, but don't hold your breath.
