Winter Homesteading
I do like the winter. Yes, I realize this puts me in the minority but I can't help it. Just look at how beautiful and peaceful my humble back acre is with a fresh blanket of snow.

I will bake bread today. A fresh pot of coffee will be on all day, so please, stop in. I would love for you to put your wet boots by the back door and rest your stocking-clad feet under my kitchen table. It will be a good day.

I miss my house being a buzz with young children and activity and life. My husband, sitting in front of the tv, is not enough.

Maybe I will get some chickens.

I am just looking for an active (underline active) community that talks about what I am interested in... sustainable food production, chickens, rabbits, rain water harvesting, etc.

I am happily married and not looking for hook-ups, just friends who love to grow food for those they love and honor the Mother Earth.
