Watch the skies

If you have clear skies over the next few nights you've got a very good chance of spotting some shooting stars as it is the maximum of the Perseid Meteor Shower with no interference from the moon as it is new tomorrow. For more info see news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6940962.stm

Save Shambo update

A judge has ruled against the decision to slaughter Shambo the sacred bull, but the authorities are going to appeal, so keep signing that petition.
