about me
******************** pluginamp.com ********************* AMP, the Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective, is a physical and virtual worldwide collective of over 1600 artists in over 50 countries networking together to build and support local and international artists, create new art communities, and enhance those that already exist. A uniquely democratic approach to networking, AMP's members include practitioners of all kind of arts, at every level from hobbyists to career professionals. AMP welcomes all artists - and those who work in any kind of art field - at any level, in every corner of the world. Every artist could use some help in finding what they need, such as collaborators, a support system, venues, places to sleep, tour personnel, and many other resources. Artists locally and worldwide need better ways to connect with both people and services. It can be difficult and time-consuming to find these in your own city, let alone in other cities in the world where you might work. AMP will give you focused connection - connections that will help you specifically, saving you time and confusion while dramatically increasing your access to other people and organizations who are doing what you need to know about. The two main goals are quick, easy, and useful creative connections, and a network of ways to make your life easier, better, bigger, and more interesting. AMP will save you money and time; expand your creative network and the possibilities that you can see for yourself; consolidate, organize, and clarify information; and open doors that you never even knew existed.
