So just to say it, I am going to get all the B.S. off my chest about how as I approach 38 and realize that I work in a job I don't like so much and live in a city that I will never own a home in, I believe that I have premature mid-life guy crises. As all of my friends have moved out of the city and I don’t feel akin to my colleagues I am increasing isolated to my own existence, What I should be doing is searching for like minded people who believe in the same values as I do, but as Drew Carrey put it “ Hate your job? There is a support group for that. It’s called everybody! We meet at the bar.” But how does one grab life by the horns when the end of the day leaves me spent like an orange peel. A trip to Blockbuster™ to watch the TV series I missed the first time around is about all I have managed to do on a consistent basis. Ok, so not entirely. I just discovered yoga, and I enjoy the exercise but I don’t really see myself seeking out friendship though a spiritual/physical medium. Perhaps a post punk needs to come to terms with the ravages of aging on temperament and physicality.

I’ve been so bored at work lately that I’ve been spending the entire day logged on to TRIBE reading through the various posts. Obviously my tribe mail is NOT what one should have on a public computer screen, but I can’t help myself. The funny part is that on the weekend, when I have all the time in the world I’m completely uninterested in the whole thing. I think it’s that I'm not in control of my time at work and as a way of rebellion I distract myself with titillation

Worst Halloween ever. Didn't do squat. Had several ideas for cool costumes and punked out because I didn't even have a party to attend! Grrr....all work and no play...
