The Zirk Ubu collective came together out of a deep, uncontrollable need for anarchic play. From our initial experiments in merriment, Zirk Ubu eventually grew to specialize in the ritual creation of Otherworlds for your sensory enjoyment. We use every means at our disposal to incite fantasy, from grotesque buffoonery to alluring aerial acrobatics; surreal tableaux to burlesque vignettes; psychedelic sideshow to prophetic comedy. The result is a theater of urban inversion, where the possible and the unimaginable dance together in the night air.
