I have been involved in dance and gymnastics since the age of 4. Started belly dancing in high school, and have been hooked ever since. I have lived, studied, worked and danced in the US and Germany.

Ok, here's what I was taught as a guide. If you hold your arm out a shoulder height and drape the veil over your arm, both ends should lightly graze the floor. If it doesn't reach the floor, it's too short, if it piles up, it's too long.
