Secular Practices # 809
The dualism between religion and spirituality in the mind of the common man seems to emphasize a separation between the two spheres when paradoxically they can and often do co-exist.

Perhaps anthropology informs our human nature of symbolic forms by which self is oriented with the cosmos and other beings therein, but spirituality can be a self-authenticating phenomenon in the modern age depending on where one allies ones spirit.
