I envision this network as a place where all those interested in learning and sharing about the study of learning from bird/animal communication can come together and help each other learn. Such a rich and convoluted topic for discussion...

A walk at the Nisqually NWR today and observing some bullfrogs made me think about something.

I have been privy to many a conversation among scientists and laymen alike regarding the problems with non-native (especially invasive) species of plants and animals. Generally they conversations of agreement about the damage these organisms are doing or will do, or even, might do some day.

Yep, first official blog post ever on Tribes. Neet moment. :)

Anyway, wanted to share a bit about happenings of late in my life with the land. It seems that Cougar has something to teach me right now. There have been several cougars captured on our trail camera now at the school where I work and live, Alderleaf Wilderness College. Also, we have seen tracks on multiple occasions and I have had many dreams that involved cougars. All over the last few months.
