about me
I have lived in the Denver area for 10 years now. I love living here. I grew up in Florida, but don't miss the heat, bugs, snakes, humidity or lack of mountains one bit. I am a white water kayaker (and an instructor too), love snowboarding and rock climbing and spending as much time as possible outdoors. I am a pottery artist (amature) and dabble in other art mediums as well. I just started volunteering in animal assisted activity at a nursing home with my beautiful Saint Bernard, Kuma. I am a very spiritual person who believes in the power of meditation, yoga and positive energy. I am a scuba diver. The one thing that really brings me joy lately is traveling. I love to experience other cultures. I like the feeling of being completely unfamiliar in a foreign country - sure makes all of life's daily hassles and troubles seem so small. Today
(blog entry)
New friendships strengthened, Old ones rekindled. We were children again - hoola hooping in the grass, enjoying the sun and playing dress up. Thank you ladies for a wonderful day.
Breath
(blog entry)
Breath in, pain out. Sun shines, energy flows again. The child smiles.
Breath in, sadness out. Body felt from within. The balance begins to shift.
Breath in, grief out. The healing has started. The light is visible.
Breath in, doubt out. ...

Here it is - The Big List!
Holy crap, so many wonderful places to snowboard and so little time. As, I come to terms with the realization that my time in Denver is coming to a close and it’s time to do something else for awhile, I wonder, where...

It started a week ago sometime in the middle of the night. I turned over and the bed and I fell three or four stories while spinning violently. This happened almost everytime I moved. Around noon on Sunday I thought it might be safe to leave th...

Ahhhh, That's Better
(blog entry)
Wow. I spent three full days last week at a workshop with an energy healer. There were 13 of us and it was a wonderful, but exhausting experience. I was able to stay in the present moment for most of 3 days - that's so difficult to do for even ...

Breath in, doubt out. Movement, dance, power all appear. Purpose is revealed.
Breath in, fear out. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow doesn't matter.
Breath in. Now. Joy, peace and love are here.

Holy crap, so many wonderful places to snowboard and so little time. As, I come to terms with the realization that my time in Denver is coming to a close and it’s time to do something else for awhile, I wonder, where should I go next. Well, I love the colder climates (so does Kuma) and I want to snowboard as long as my poor knees will still let me so I decided to make a list of places to go check out. The list is a little long to go visit them all, but I will ...

It started a week ago sometime in the middle of the night. I turned over and the bed and I fell three or four stories while spinning violently. This happened almost everytime I moved. Around noon on Sunday I thought it might be safe to leave the bedroom. Yea, I was wrong. Vertigo is far more violent when in a standing position. There's no possible way to stay standing when you have no idea which direction is up. So a wild ride with the bathroom sink and I'm on my way to the hospital. ...

Wow. I spent three full days last week at a workshop with an energy healer. There were 13 of us and it was a wonderful, but exhausting experience. I was able to stay in the present moment for most of 3 days - that's so difficult to do for even 5 minutes. I was able to release a lot of the energy blocks I've been fighting lately. Yea! It was magical to support others in their process as well. It was interesting to witness the energy expansions and contractions over the weekend too. Fri...
