My Blog

We brought Luna home in October 2008. We were busting with happiness. I remember I couldn't wait to come home to see her after work. At that time she was about 4 months old. When she was 10 months old we found out she could have FIP-a rare disease which causes the immune system of a cat to fight itself. The crappy thing about FIP is there is no definitive test, so we treated her like she had some other infection (with antibiotics) and we syringe-fed her and gave her fluid injections every day... read more

Steve worked with Luna's crate in his office the first couple months we had her. She distracted him a little...

We started to feed her with a syringe at the end of April. She still ate some on her own, but not enough

This is about a week before we let her go-she was sleeping a lot and having trouble walking and breathing.
