Finally, it looks likely that the so-called "progress" on various fronts - you know, human rights - environmental rights - freedom to not be religious - etc, will be a thing of the past.

A lifetime of change...

I realized that we really hadn't made any official announcements regarding our dog, Gus.

This June, past, we had to have him put to sleep. He was in the neighborhood of 16 years old & suffered from health issues.

Easily, this was one of the most difficult decisions that I have ever been party to making.

I miss him more than I ever thought possible -
