Things what I did while I was home
1. Endured my brother's graduation party with the aid of a bottle of red wine and very high heels that made me feel very important.
2. Barely contained my laughter when my dad got sick from drink and spent the evening curled up around the toilet. Yes this really did happen. And then we had to drive home (with the windows open) and experience him puking into a bag. The man was seriously sick for like 5 hours. There must have been something wrong with the filet... Afternoon Delight
Let me tell you about my neighbors. So our kitchen window looks out on the side of our neighbor's house, and right up to a large second floor bedroom window. Beneath this bedroom window the downstairs window juts out creating a kind of roof deck and, I assume, creating the illusion of privacy, at least from those below. Not so. In which I make a shitty batch of muffins to feel better about my...eye
I have a problem. I can't seem to make a good batch of muffins. Maybe my basic muffin recipe sucks. But somehow they never taste right. And I have a tendency to add frozen berries which has a tendency to make the muffins a bit sour so I should probably use more sugar when I do that. Hmmm. And tonight I got all creative and tried to make a streusel topping. I made 2 1/2 cups of the stuff (didn't think to cut the recipe down) for a 12 muffin recipe. I had shitloads leftover. Things that I DO NOT like to do in costume
1. Jumpstart my car.
2. Shovel snow off my car.
3. Shovel snow off my car and then jumpstart it.

This has been a fun week already. As we speak my car is in the shop bc I have officially decided that even though I spent $300 in March to replace my muffler, having to jump one's car increasingly on a semi-daily basis is getting rifuckingdiculous and it is time to plunk down $104 to get a new battery.
