so is this ww3 thing really going to happen? why don't people care?
i have always felt as though main stream science fiction is self-fufilling prophecy (one small example being cell phones inspired by star trek communicators . . .) most sci-fi stuff refrences, or is set after, a third world war. perhaps this is why people are so accepting that this is inevidable. the idea for this war has been in the popular western cutlural subconcious for a long long time.
