How can we help women regain their power in third world countries. The plight of women in India being treated so badly by men and also by women, as well, when it comes to arranged marriages and the dowry that is given to the husbands family upon marriage.

I've travelled to India numerous times, lived with an Indian family and experienced what life is like for them over there. To read in the papers every day about the women who have been burnt to death ***accidentally*** from gas stoves blowing up, to see the burns victims in hospitals who survived the onslaught from in laws because the dowry wasn't paid or wasn't enough.

For women to have ultrasounds to determine whether their child is female or male and then decide to get rid of that child if it is a girl. Such a tragedy when their isn't enough feminine energy in this world now.

How can we empower these women to live in the 21st Century instead of the Dark Ages? To be strong enough to live and grow in peace and harmony with all beings, whether it be male or female.

For those young women struggling to make a life for themselves outside of the old ways, away from the old traditions, I send many blessings to you all and ask that you all be protected and strengthened to follow your dreams and have a happy and productive life.
