See my interests. I'm a student @ UNR, majoring in English and minoring in music. I play guitar in a band called Flamingo Matrix. Our url is www.myspace.com/flamingomatrix . I don't get along with religiously narrow minded people who don't weigh things very heavily. I like to travel and wander, though I seldom get to do it long distances. Luckily, a little circumstantial change goes a long way for my internal experience, so walking around the block is an adventure. I write music and poetry, read a lot, and spend just a little too much time on the internet for my own good. I don't like extreme weather or bugs that move quickly and/or act aggressively. I think freedom of perspective is the most important freedom of all. In the last year, I've gotten involved with an organization called "The Art of Living," which is a world-wide non-profit organization recognized in 150 countries, which teaches yoga, meditation and breathing techniques as a means of self-development and a path to self-realization. I support it because it's a non-denominational spiritual support system which encourages finding out the truth through personal experience and basing beliefs on that, rather than accepting dogmas blindly. Sri Sri, the man who started the organization has said that spirituality is a banana, and religion is the peel, and unfortunately most people throw away the banana and hold onto the peel.
