Josey's been complaining about blurred vision while at school and while reading. So I finally took him to the eye doctor today. Turns out he's got astigmatism in both eyes and he needs correction for both near and far-sightedness. So he needs bifocals!!!! I couldn't afford the no-line kind, so he's going to have old-people glasses in about a week. I think he looks adorable in glasses, but I'm afraid the kids at school won't be as kind as me.

I can't believe I haven't written a testimonial for Sandee yet! This woman is amazingly quick witted. She tells the best stories and has the best comebacks. She really does crack me up!
You can’t talk about Sandee and not mention the great relationship she has with her super cool son Josey. She is such a hip and caring mom and it shows. On top of that, She is soooooo understanding and makes me feel like I am not alone in the world. Sandee is the person I always go to when I need to vent or want advice on a touchy matter. Her shoulder is a great place to lay your head. I feel like she is kind of a big sister to me. I will always remember when we first met and we were in class practicing for Waady. She was the person in beginners class (besides of course Mari) to help me with that damn one hip figure 8 thing I had such a problem with. I am so glad she joined Alchemy at the same time as me. I always enjoy dancing and hanging out with her tremendously. Sandee, you rock!!!! March 30, 2007
Sandee is someone that I can always count on to make me happy. She is a wonderful mother and friend. She has come such a long way in the short time that she has been dancing and is always an inspiration to me. I have not had the chance to dance with her as much as I would like to but hopefully after this baby is born she will teach me a thing or two about dance, motherhood, and staying as sane as possible as I learn to balance it all. I hope that she continues to grow and evolve in the way that she has. I hope that long after our hips have stopped shimmying that she will still be there for me to look to for all those things that she doesn't even know she shows to me. I love you Sandee, just keep smiling....

Sandee, you are sooo my partner in crime!
Her giggle is infectious; her presence is calming.. then she gets a wicked little twinkle in her eye and I'm on the floor, rolling with laughter!! She's a terrific Mom with a wonderful son. She's a dedicated dancer who isn't afraid to let you know when she doesn't understand, and then works her ass off to get it juuuust right. And, she is probably the biggest marketing juggernaut we've had. This chick has gotten us more gigs in the small time she's been here than anyone else! I know she's secretly trying to make Alchemy our full-time job. ;) Works for me!!
