The news............
Chatting to the pater on the phone tonight about the world cup and the no-hoper teams...seems I've been to Togo! Wow! Apparently in the back of a little car in my carry cot when I was a wee bairn. Fancy that, me in Togo! (to be quite honest, didn't even know it was African. Oh dear!)

World Cup fever hotting up here...am running a sweepstake at work (me, who HATES football!) - whoever has picked out the World Cup winning team will win £32! How very exciting.....! My dad has won tickets to the bloody first England game (v. Paraguay) on Saturday. He won 2 tickets and had to decide who to take - me or my bro...So he's taking my brother and they'll have a jolly time. Next time, when he wins cash, it's me he needs to come to!
Feeling a bit delicate today after a bit of a sesh at the Golden Star last night! Went to see the band playing - Ducker is leaving to go to Japan to teach English for a year and it was his farewell gig. Simon is taking over his role in the band, so next gig will be with Simon in it. He did a guest spot, tho - with Mark (other guitar) and Jules on harmonica - they did a blues number, very cool.

Have been busy last few days sewing and making bags - have made 4 cute little dinky tote bags with different fabrics, sequins & beads - am well impressed with myself!
