I spend as much time on the computer gathering information as I do going out and socializing with the city folk. I happen to like city life way more than being isolated in the suburbs or the rural areas. I can get around a lot easier and a lot cheaper (no car to eat up my money!). I have interests in conservation of natural resources since I was ten, learned about Tibetan Buddhism when I was nine, Islam when I was 11, and many other things when I was quite young. My mom gave me "The Phantom Tollbooth" when I was ten, and I picked out Rachel Carson's "The Sea Around Us" when I was 12. Both books leave a deep impression on me.
