I just watched the worst movie. yes, even worse than Showgirls.

"Calamity Jane" (1953) a musical (shudder) starring Doris Day- makes her out as a laughingstock until she dons frilly dresses and marries Wild Bill. There's horrible racism, and a whole feminization scene where the "real woman" (an actress from Chicago) transforms Calamity's cabin into a cutesy 50s cottage with floral print and puts Calamity in a frilly dress, whereupon romantic tragedy ensues.
