Hmmm... not quite the same ring as Rainy Days and Mondays.... songwriting is not my forte. However, I do love a good rain. How cleansing, calming, beautiful. hearing the rain drip steadily from the branches of the big oak trees out back - it brings such a calm over me. I feel that I could sleep for days. Who needs valium when you have a steady rain.

I am so happy for Thanksgiving. I like the idea and tradition of taking at least one day a year to really think about what you are thankful for. So many things pass us by on our daily routines - it's difficult to keep up with what we are truly thankful for. Being thankful doesn't mean that everything in your life is perfect. I'd say the opposite is true. You need the sweet with the sour, the good with the bad, the good with the....well, you get the idea.
