about me
I don't like to give details online, but I am the patriarch of House Neverwinter. We play dumbek and djimbe and bring our own dancer(s). If you've seen us at events, our boy and girl do Scottish Highland dancing and our big djimbes are the Drums on Wheels.

I enjoy teaching introductory drum classes.

Update - the kids no longer do Highland dancing, but that's OK - we are the band NeverWinter, which is a blast! And my drum classes are no longer just introductory.

Ursula has upgraded her Saz, and her harp. Tara (now Rinda) has improved her oud skills significantly and she consistently delights me. Ulric is better at counting... because we formed a band.

At Pennsic 2007, she took a sazs class, and really likes it. After watching the next class for 20 minutes, I realized I could actually play it. The only problem is, now that we've bought it, I really don't want to give it up and she doe... read more
