I think I've got a split personality. By day I'm a straight laced Data Governance Analyst and recovering DBA. During the rest of my wake hours my pursuits have been rather incongrous with my white collar persona. For several years I was a member of a living historical education group depicting life in the highlands of Scotland around 1630 - Clann Tartan (yes there are 2 n's in our Clann). Lately I've found myself signing up for belly dance classes (raqs for now, since we have no tribal teachers in town), and planning for the day when will have tribal classes here. I've been spending a lot of my time designing outfits and shopping for baubles and bits. Obviously, craftiness and sewing has a common thread with both the historical education and the bellydance. I also love to crochet, handspin and make knotted jewlery.
