California Stuff...

So Tom and I are moving to California. He got a job working in digitization with his previous employer Back Stage library works. We're not allowed to say who Back Stage is working for but it involves a large corporate company famous for its animation. You do the math. The work will involve scanning animation cells, uploading them on to the computer and checking for quality of the finished scan. It actually sounds fun and I'm going to be able to work there for up to three months until I get a new job. (damn, anti spouse working for the same company policies)
We will be living in Glendale, CA which is close to L.A., Burbank and Pasadena. It seems like a safe place to live. The town has lots of Armenian architectural influence. It looks like one of those European village with in a village type of towns. I'm going to make Tom buy an earth friendly vehicle that runs on bio-diesel so we don't pollute that area even more.
Tom has to be moved out there by the end of this month. I will be headed out to Cali in my Toyota Supra at the end of June, hopefully, with a friend to keep me company and my two cats. I will be making an announcement soon about a friend coming with me to CA with an all expense paid trip. Who0- hoo!

Trying to get my life together

I recently opened my Etsy store in hopes of earning some extra money to take my bellydance classes. As many of you know the economy is not the best. Cost of food, gas and general living expenses have gone up tremendously thus I've had to cut back a lot on my extra spending. I quit my job in July and I have been selling what I could on Ebay. Mainly things I've made & friends stuff. That was going well until the winter hit and people stopped spending as much money. I now don't have a reliable car to get a job. So I'm kinda stuck in a catch 23. I'm hoping my Etsy store will take off and I can buy more stuff to make, sell & start taking bellydance classes again.

I am horrible at exercising at home and I need to start disciplining myself if I ever want bellydancing to be a more serious aspect of my life. I have gained 20lbs over the winter and can't fit into much of my clothing. So, I need to start doing something about it. I need to pick a time of day at least every other day that I exercise. I also need to stick to some form of diet. I keep going back and forth between low carb and not and I know thats some of my problem.

I miss my kitty Delerium. He's been missing for a week now and my hope that he will come home is dwindling. The house is alittle more lonely now that one more of my 'boys' is gone. My husband is on the coast 4hrs away, for 6 months. I get to see him on most weekends which is nice. My other kitty Willow has been lonely and has been demanding attention like never before. I keep walking to my kitchen looking out the back window hoping he'll be eating out of his food bowl on the back porch. I miss him so much.
