Where to go from here????

This arrived at my home on Sunday evening. It was intended to be a 20th anniversary present for Rob and I, but genius has it's own time. Mom finished it in November, but didn't want to trust it to mail or courier. She waited until one of my cousins was traveling this direction and threatened his life if it wasn't delivered.

I had the chance to dance at the MS Walk yesterday. What a marvelous time it was! Sometimes, just plain old dancing is the best thing for the soul. I need to take time to do that more… without choreography, without planning, without stressing over combinations, form and ability. Just music and movement.

Not only did I thoroughly enjoy myself, I wore my prototype footies. The results were not what I had hoped for. Unfortunately, they kept wanting to slide forward, past my toes. I’ll have to... read more

On March 26th, 2008, I started my foray into the world of pink. It’s never been a color I’ve enjoyed or worn, but there’s a special reason for this particular costume.

Each year, the Walk to End Breast Cancer occurs. Last year, I had the privilege of dancing with a lovely group of ladies in support of those who are walking. Hordes of people, the majority wearing pink… which I was very conspicuously not.
